First Preg tests!

Hurray! The Pregnancy tests results are back for all of our does bred in September and they will all confirmed pregnant! Now I can let out the breath I have been holding. Wheeewwwww.
Granted we may end up with all bucks or something horrible could happen, but at least I don't have to sit around worrying if I am missing silent heats on all of these does because 9 out of 19 done ain't bad.

  1. Hi,
Terrific Post! Tri-County Veterinarian Clinic said only ultra-sound is available to know if doe is pregnant. Is there a goat pregnancy test? I picture myself shadowing a doe with a human pregnancy stick, waiting for the urine to dip it.
Is there another option to ultrasound?

  2. Indeed there is - it is a blood test that is very accuate for all the people I have talked with: http://www.biotracking.com/
Personally I think it is much more reliable to ultrasound AND at $7.50 a sample - way cheaper for a few does
